Getting the right diagnosis is the first step toward getting back to your life. That’s why Mayo Clinic and Solventum are working together to make access to expert healthcare easier.

If you or a covered family member is facing a complex, rare, or undiagnosed health condition, you may be eligible for care at Mayo Clinic — with travel and lodging covered and coordinated for you and a caregiver.

From diagnosis to treatment, Mayo Clinic builds a team of top specialists around you to provide answers, options, and peace of mind — all in one place.

Coverage for a wide range of complex conditions.

Many patients use the Mayo Clinic Complex Care Program when symptoms remain unexplained, diagnoses are uncertain, or treatment plans have not led to improvement despite previous care.

Eligible conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Blood disorders
  • Cancer
  • Cardiology
  • Children’s care

  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Neurological disorders
  • Undiagnosed symptoms or conditions
  • Transplant

These conditions often share a common challenge — they can be difficult to diagnose or manage and may benefit from coordinated, multispecialty expertise.

If you are experiencing difficult medical conditions, find out if you’re eligible for care at Mayo Clinic through the Mayo Clinic Complex Care Program.

Trusted answers. Coordinated care.

With this program, nearly every aspect of care is covered and coordinated, from travel and lodging to appointment scheduling. Solventum provides excellent benefits, and Mayo Clinic provides you with trusted answers and solutions, often in a matter of days.

Here’s how it works:

  • Eligibility review. Mayo Clinic will work with you to collect the appropriate medical records and determine if you would benefit from care at a Mayo Clinic campus.
  • Covered and coordinated travel and lodging. If appointments at Mayo Clinic are recommended, travel and lodging for you and a caregiver (two caregivers if the patient is pediatric) will be covered and coordinated for you.
  • Return home for ongoing care. After evaluation and/or treatment at Mayo Clinic, you will return home for ongoing care with your local provider.

Frequently asked questions.

Mayo Clinic will review your diagnosis and treatment plan to determine if you would benefit from care at a Mayo Clinic campus. If so, travel and lodging will be covered and coordinated for you plus a caregiver (two caregivers are covered if the patient is a child).

Once travel is booked, we’ll work with you to schedule all your appointments throughout your stay — accessed in real-time through our Patient Online Services portal or the Mayo Clinic app.

You’ll travel to Mayo Clinic for tests, evaluations, and treatments that make sense for your condition. When you return home, your care will continue with your local provider.

The Mayo Clinic Complex Care Program is an additional layer of medical advice and care.

At Mayo Clinic, a world-class team of doctors and specialists will see you in one place, at one time. They will listen to your story, learn your goals, and work together to accurately diagnose and treat your condition, so you can get back to your life as quickly as possible.

Yes. Your privacy and confidentiality will be maintained throughout your entire experience, and no information about your medical condition will be shared unless authorized by you.

The costs of travel and lodging are covered for you. However, services received through the program at Mayo Clinic will be considered in-network and are subject to your health plan’s co-insurance and deductible.
