To reduce discomfort following surgery and improve recovery, we use an innovative cryotherapy approach to temporarily numb the nerves on both sides of the chest, often until the pain from surgery has subsided. After surgery, half of our patients leave the hospital without requiring any narcotics, and most begin walking on the day of surgery and leave the hospital the next day.
